I love music.  I'm addicted to it, in fact.  A friend once said to me; "I think you like pretty much anything as long as it's done well."   And that is basically my "taste" in a nutshell.  Taste is a matter of personal preference, after all, and for the most part, that rarely enters into my assessment of music.

I like a little bit of everything from a little bit of everywhere.  However, most of my library consists of artists from Japan.  From all different genres, pretty much.  Second would be Chinese, and then Finnish.  The rest could come from anywhere, but is unlikely to come from America.  I pretty much loathe American pop culture now, after years of being immersed in it.

I used to list favorite bands, but I realized something like that never holds for very long.  So I only have one favorite band, and that is MUCC. ♥

Anyway, this my review/music talk only blog.  Here I'll review albums and singles when I feel like it, some new, some old.  I'll also occasionally profile bands and musicians, which I've sort of done so far.  There might be other things, news and such, but needless to say, it will always be about music, and probably mostly Jrock.  At least, for now.  Sometimes I disappear for awhile, and that usually has more to do with laziness/work as opposed to lack of music interest. ;)

Currently I'm on a musical journey through the Chinese-speaking world.  That's nearly all I've been listening to for about three months now.  There's a certain sound there I'm really digging, and I would be lying if I said it wasn't connected in some way to how the language actually sounds.  My favorite artists so far are Nicholas Tse, Vanness Wu, Andy Lau, New Pants, ThinMan, Eason Chan, Huang Yida, Fahrenheit, Elva Hsiao, Will Pan, Picks, Mr., Qiu Hong and Shin.

The man in my profile pic is Miya, guitarist of MUCC.  The title and subtitle of my blog is taken from a DEAD END song of the same name.
